Our trip is well planned for those either on a holiday in Cambodia or expats living in the region and the tour schedule can be tailored to fit your wish list for visiting the temples of Angkor.  This trip is full board and sure to give you the full package, the sites, the flavor and wonderment of Cambodia.  As with all our trips, the schedule can be reversed or modified as you wish.

Brief Itinerary

Day 1: Siem Reap arrival - Angkor Wat
Day 2: Angkor Thom and Angkor Ruins
Day 3: Tonlé Sap - Siem Reap Departure

*Note: Extensions on this trip to enjoy more time exploring the entire Angkor Complex and surrounding areas are available.
 

Day to Day Itinerary

Day 1: Siem Reap Arrival - Angkor Wat

Our guide will come to airport to welcome you, transfer to hotel for check-in. The tour start with the visiting to the most famous temple: Angkor Wat. Angkor Wat is a World Heritage Site since 1992, renowned for its beauty and splendor. Angkor Wat features the longest continuous bas-relief in the world, which runs along the outer gallery walls and narrates stories from Hindu mythology. Angkor Wat was a temple dedicated to the Hindu God - Vishnu. It was constructed over a period of 30 years by King Suryavarman II, who reigned between 1131 and 1151. 
After here, we visit Ba Khenh Temple: the first temple in the Angkor region built by in the 9th century, and enjoy a romantic sunset view from Bakheng Hill.

Upon return to Siem Reap we will enjoy dinner at a local Khmer restaurant.

Note - This tour is dependent on a morning arrival in Siem Reap.  Optional fly in the evening before and overnight at a hotel is possible.

Day 2: Angkor Thom and Angkor Ruins

We drive out of city to discover the impressive Angkor Thom: South Gate, Bayon, Baphoun, Terrace of Elephants, Terrace of Leper King and Phimean Akas Temple. Lunch is at a local restaurant.

In the afternoon, you will continue the grand tour of the Angkor Ruins: Thomonon, Chao Say Tevoda, Takeo, Ta Prom, Bunteay Kdey and Sras Srong.  Dinner tonight is at the Aspara Restaurant and a traditional Khmer dance performance compliments our local meal.

Day 3: Tonlé Sap - Siem Reap Departure

 After breakfast we take a short drive to Tonlé Sap for a cruise on the lake and a visit to a floating village to explore the fishing village life. Upon our return to Siem Reap, we visit Artisans Angkor, a local project assisting young people and training in handicrafts, carving and various local techniques.  Lunch is at the local restaurant and we relax until your flight time and optional shopping is available.
