HI Jim, Just wanted to put on record our thanks for a great 10 days in Laos. We both thoroughly enjoyed the ride, the countryside and the organisation. We found the trip a perfect balance between off-road technical riding and simple but beautiful scenic riding. Many thanks.

Jim, You did it again. Two years later and the excitement is the same. You know its good when 5 Canadians are more excited about where were riding too, that celebrating a Gold Medal in Hockey. Lets start planning the next ride. Ted Van Duin

One of the best experiences of my life. We were able to see the best parts of Laos in a week, all made possible by the well maintained machines that we used to tour the countryside. Couldn't have asked for more. Thanks Jim!

We hadnâ??t plan on going with a tour group until we saw Remote Asiaâ??s web site. But the idea of a private tour was very appealing, as Remote Asia could cater to whatever activities we wanted to do. They were very helpful in answering all our queries and helping to make sure that everything ran smoothly, right down to our town downs in Laos, whichever the city we were in. The guides were great and knowledgeable, and we were given a lot of flexibility with our time. It was truly an amazing experience for the 3 of us, made that much more memorable with the package organized by Remote Asia. Thanks, guys!

Laos was an amazing experience, it was only me and the tour guide, Jim, which for the last few years is riding and exploring Asia (Cambodia, Thailand, Vietnam, Laos, etc), he lives in Laos (and married to a Vietnamese girl), he knows every little road, every remote villages, and all the history, we did mostly off road and jungle trails, and it was fun to go on my own pace, I can defiantly say it was amazing trip we went places that almost no one seen, we road an amazing part of the Ho Chi Minh Trail (the trail that the Vietnamese used to smuggle weapon to northern Vietnam in the war) a side track trail that maybe 20-30 other foreigners ever did (since after the Vietnam war) it is too narrow for 4x4, and too dangerous, We crossed a lot of rivers (sometimes by riding, and some with very small boat that almost didn't fit the bike. i think you guys will have a great time with him. Thanks for the great ride!! Ori

Just came back from a trip with some friends along the border in south Laos. We were on rented Baja 250s that worked great. Had a fabulous time. I have been in Asia a long time, but it was still very enjoyable to parts of Laos I had not been to before. Jim is a great guide, and very in tune with the local culture. Everything went smoothly, Quynh working quietly in the background ?? They have my highest recommendation !!!!!!

Quynh and Jim took so much of the trouble out of spending a week alone in Northern Laos. Even with my limited biking experience they provided the support that allowed me to travel safely and to some fantastic locations. Their services have been so good my family has just finished our second round of travels organised through them. Having Quynh and Jim behind the scenes has made all the difference. Thanks guys.

They gave us a toolkit, but the only thing we used it for was to open the Beerlao at the end of each day's successful ride. Top-quality equipment, top-quality support. Cheers!

I used the services of Jim and Quynh at info@remoteasia.com and highly recommend them!!! Me and a friend spent 18 days riding around the north of Laos on 250cc Hondas during November 2007. While Jim is the man with all the information, Quynh is the real brains of the operation. She was fantastic in her attention to detail and always responded to my emails and calls in a timely manner. We used remote asia for not only bike rental but flights around Southeast Asia and some hotel bookings. We paid half up front through Paypal and the rest when they met us at our hotel in Vientiane. Having a phone provided by them was also a nice touch. We plan to return next year and see the south of Laos. Thanks Jim & Quynh and see you then.

In the Land of a Million Elephants there's only one outfit who can negotiate the various jungle trails and ensure a trouble free, fun and exciting trip to Laos and the surrounding Asian 'neighbourhood'. Jim & Quynh @ Remote Asia will take good care of you both on & off-road as well as any jungle track that takes your fancy!

Quynh and Jim offer a great service and i was very impressed, both with the bike and the back up they provided! I would recommend their company to anyone thinking of travelling in Laos. Nothing is to much bother for Quynh! Thanks again
