Laos

Laos is our base of operations and our bikes are well maintained we have a long list of satisfied clients. Our rates are inclusive of a sit down consultation for your trip, tool kit for minor repairs, multiple point inspection of each bike before rental and safe deposit of extra bags or valuables while you are riding. We additionally offer inexpensive gear rental, hotel bookings based on a flexible schedule, road assistance, secure online payment, pick up and drop off of the bike in various locations and the confidence to know you have someone in Vientiane you can talk to if you need advice or support.

The Bikes

Honda Baja 250

The Honda XR 250 is a 4 stroke engine, 250 cc in size and a 6 speed, chain drive. The weight of the bike is around 126 kilos. The bike is outfitted with a rear rack that can support baggage tied on with bungee cord straps. Electric start and this model has dual headlamps. Fuel tank holds 12 liters. RATES

Honda XR 250

The Honda XR 250 is a 4 stroke engine, 250 cc in size and a 6 speed, chain drive. The weight of the bike is about 120 kilos. The bikes are outfitted with rear racks that can support baggage and be tied down with bungee cord straps. Electric start and this model is slightly lighter than the Baja with an 8 liter fuel tank. Honda XR 230

The Honda XR 230 is a 4 stroke engine, 230 cc in size and a 6 speed, chain drive. The weight of the bike is about 105 kilos. The bike is outfitted with rear racks that can support baggage and be tied down with bungee cord straps. Electric start and this model is slightly lighter than the 250 with an 7 liter fuel tank. Suzuki Djebel 230

The Djebel is perfect for those a bit vertically challenged and are looking for a small bike that can handle a bit of weight. Easy to ride and a large capacity fuel tank combined with a 5 speed gear box and comfortable seat - all make the ride a bit better. RATES

Honda FTR 230

Nicknamed “Tracker”, this 5 speed, 120 kilo bike has oversize tires and is suitable for road tours and dirt roads but not real off road travel. A smaller 7 liter fuel tank isn’t an issue on range (150 KM) as gas is available everywhere. The FTR can handle 2 passengers and gear can fit on the rear rack. RATES

Suzuki Van Van 200

Van Van motorcycle Rental Laos Great for long trips on this lightweight bike, the Van Van is a bit less powered than the other bikes but pulls well on hills and the comfort factor is quite high. RATES

Kawasaki KLX 250

The newest bike in Laos, limited availability on this model. The KLX is an easy bike to ride. You can ride 2 up on this or solo and a rear rack for luggage is installed. The KLX isn't as fun in the mud or single track as the XR but a solid bike.RATES

New Tire Option: The bike will have tires for your trip that are sometimes not 100% new but will last the duration of your ride plus. If you are interested, we can put new tires on the bike for your trip at an additional US $50 per tire and your choice of dual use or full knobbly.
