Being self
guided doesn’t mean that you are out there alone in the wilderness with no resources
behind
you. Once we’ve found out what
you are looking for in a trip, we’ll plan one loose itinerary for you to make a
few diversions but still remain on the general plan. Itinerary, hotels bookings, area information,
tips and ideas on what we think is good to do and 24 hour support only a phone
call away is what you get with a Remote Asia self guided tour. Your part – Ride It.
Here’s how it
works. Once we have details from our
survey, we’ll propose an itinerary for you to ride and give you details on each
day, hotels, meals, area attractions (and distractions), road conditions, trip
notes and what safety gear we suggest for where you are riding. That’s it.
Once you approve the itinerary, we put it all in motion and when you
arrive in
We’re not
worried so much as like to keep in touch with you so don’t be surprised if we
call while you’re having breakfast or early evening when the Beer Lao is
flowing where you are. Why? Flexibility is a Remote Asia trait and if you
decide along the road to hang out in a certain place a bit longer or if you are
feeling like taking in a site along the way not on the itinerary, we’ll help
you out and be the resource you need.
Our self guided trips are very similar to our regular tours but in most cases, the small track we take on the guided tours are a bit too difficult to run without someone that knows the area and terrain.
