From David Egan:

It was amazing trip and I really have to thank you guys for helping to make it possible especially when I lost my wallet etc. To me that's the real test customer service, how an organization reacts when something goes wrong. You guys certainly nailed that.
Jim, the bike was perfect for the conditions and the riding left me wanting to do more off-road stuff on my next adventure.

Thanks again for everyting

David

From Allan:

Read his blog as well here.
We plotted his route and used our Ride Guides!

Jim

Just wanted to thank you again for the excellent service you provided to us on our most recent trip. The bikes were A1 and your local knowledge and tips once again made the journey and the off bike activities (beerlao and the local food) so much more enjoyable.

We are already planning to come over again next year and bring another couple of riders so look forward to catching up again.

Cheers
Simon

Hi Jim,

Ingrid and I just wanted to let you know that we were very satisfied with the huge amount of good tips and the superb service you offered us while we were in Laos last month.

Laos is a great country to discover by motorbike - especially if that motorbike is well maintained ;-) We had a wonderful time and definitely hope to come back once.

Many, many thanks for both your and your wife's support!

Best regards,

Ingrid & Stijn

PS Back to work now :-(

----------------------------

Dear Quynh and Jim,

The trip was awesome and just kept getting better. The kit and the bikes were excellent and we had no technical problems at all.

We met another biker at a gas station who had rented his bike from another firm and he was complaining about everything!

We are already thinking about another trip, and if we go we will use remote Asia.

Thanks again,

Andrew

Jimoi -

Without your help planning, we'd have run a very different tour and not seen all the places you sent us to.  The off road bits were pretty tough but the bikes powered thru. The tips you gave were so good and while we didn't follow all your advice, we will when we come back next year.

Thanks for everything and we're looking forward to the next ride in Laos!

Dan and Mick

Hi Jim,

Just dropped the bikes in Pakse,

Had an absolute brilliant time!

The bikes were perfect and after overhearing a fellow Aussie rider in a restaurant here in pakse saying he had been on the bikes for 4 days and had been rained on,for all of them.we had perfect weather for the entire trip,we had a 30 min rain event on the BOLV

plateau, and that was it.we will miss the bikes for the rest of our travels.I want to thank you for the prompt service and help on this trip,I will highly recommend your company to all I will tell about my trip.will definitely be working on the north  trip next year as soon as I get home

Cheers Andy,Simon,Steve

                                       Honda CRF250L
The CRF250L features a liquid-cooled, 250cc 4-stroke DOHC single-cylinder engine similar to the one used in Honda's CBR250R. The new 23-horsepower dual sport is said to be more agile and fuel efficient than the 223cc air-cooled CRF250 it replaces; Honda claims over 100 mpg.  Specs for this bike online are here.

Rates: $44.00 - $48.00 per day
Rates will vary due to length and season

                                                                       Honda Baja 250cc
Honda Baja 250 Laos Motorcycle Rental
The Honda Baja is fairly similar to the XR above but has a larger fuel tank and dual headlamp.  The bike can be ridden 2 up with light luggage but is not as comfortable for rider and pillion as the Honda FTR.  The Baja can go anywhere in Laos - it's a very strong bike with plenty of pull to get you out of the mud or down the main roads. All bikes have a 6 speed gear box, weigh about 120 kilos, have a rear rack for bag tie down, adjustable suspension (914 mm seat height), air cooled and electric start.

Rates: $33.00 - $38.00 per day

                                                                                                                                Honda XR 250cc

Enjoy riding Laos with the ability to take on side tracks as you like with this dual sport Honda XR 250.  All bikes have a 6 speed gear box, weigh about 120 kilos, have a rear rack for bag tie down, adjustable suspension (914 mm seat height), air cooled and electric start.  This is a light, durable and very reliable bike for running Laos on either paved roads or off the track.  The main difference between this and the Baja listed below, smaller fuel tank ( 9 liters) different seat
design and a single headlamp.

Rates: USD $33.00 - $38.00 per day

Rates will vary due to length and season

The Suzuki DRZ 400 SM is a great bike not only for the roads in Laos but getting off on track.  This bike is best with only 1 rider but comfortable enough for 2 riders and a small bag.  While this bike is a Super Motard model, we have 2 versions of tire set ups.  A more advanced rider ability is required for this bike.  Truly a great ride and we've widened the seats a bit to make it a bit more comfortable.

Rates: USD $43.00 - $50.00 per day

Rates will vary due to length and season

Honda Trans Alp 400cc
The Honda Trans Alp 400 is a great bike for riding 2 up and on the main roads of Laos.  This bike is a 5 speed 400 cc machine and more comfortable when you have a passenger.  While not light, the bike has great pull on the hills in Laos and a large capacity fuel tank.  The bike is based in Vientiane and can be shipped in and out of Luang Prabang only.  Shipping rates for this bike are slightly higher than the others due to the weight.  One way shipping VTE - LPQ is USD $68.00 (additional day fees may apply)

Rates: USD $48.00 - $55.00 per day
Rates will vary due to length and season

Kawasaki KLX 250 cc Motorcycle rental LaosKawasaki KLX 250 cc
A great bike to run Laos, either on or off road.  The KLX comes with a rear rack for baggage, electric start, 8 liter fuel tank, digital displays, water cooled engine, a seat height of about 890 mm and is really easy to ride.  A true dual sport bike that is light and reliable.  These bikes are manufactured in Thailand and imported to Laos with a production year of 2009.

Rates: USD $ 33.00 - $35.00.00 per day

Rates will vary due to length and season

Honda FTR 223cc "The Tracker"Honda FTR Rental in Vientiane
A great little bike with enough power to handle 2 up riding and is by far the most comfortable of all the bikes in the fleet.  The FTR is low to the ground with a seat height of about 780 mm and both tyres are fatboys so it has great traction - "The Tracker".  This bike comes with a rear rack, electric starter, air cooled, 5 speed gear box and will take you all over Laos. Honda FTR Specs

Rates: USD $33.00 - $35.00 per day

Rates will vary due to length and season
